Ecommerce Consultancy in Sydney
Ecommerce platform engineering is the strong suit — full stop. I built this side of the practice for stores that have outgrown a default Shopify setup and started dropping orders because of it. Not a theme fix. The plumbing underneath.
I need local support with…
- A Shopify store that's outgrown its default setup and started dropping orders because of it
- Order and fulfilment pipelines that need to actually hold up when volume spikes, not fall over
- Multi-carrier shipping and rate shopping wired properly — not bolted on and hoped for
- Marketplace, carrier, and 3PL systems that are supposed to agree on an order's status and don't
Most ecommerce breakage shows up at the seams — the place where the storefront, the warehouse, and the carrier are all meant to agree on the state of an order, and quietly don't. That's what I work on: Shopify GraphQL Admin and Storefront APIs, webhook-driven fulfilment, multi-carrier rate shopping, and the marketplace-carrier-3PL handoffs that break first the moment volume climbs. I've built it. It works.
This isn't theming. It isn't conversion-rate advice. It's the order-to-shipped pipeline working the way it's supposed to, so a spike in traffic is a good problem again — not a support-ticket avalanche you're firefighting at 9pm.
Based in Sydney (AEST). I work with Sydney businesses remotely across Australia — async-first — with in-person scoping available where it genuinely helps.
Questions
What kind of Shopify problems actually land on your desk?
The ones that show up once you're past the default setup, where the out-of-the-box config was never built for what you're doing now: custom Admin/GraphQL work, fulfilment extensions, webhook flows that double-fire or silently drop, and rate-shopping logic across carriers the theme store never anticipated.
Do you work with Sydney businesses in person or remotely?
Primarily remote — I'm Sydney-based (AEST) and work async-first, which suits ecommerce teams anywhere in the country. An in-person session for scoping or a deeper systems walkthrough is easy enough to arrange where it genuinely helps.
Can you handle high order volumes without a full rebuild?
Usually, yes — and I'd rather tell you that up front than sell you a rebuild you don't need. Most volume problems are integration and sync problems, not platform problems. Fix the webhook handling, the carrier rate-shopping logic, and the 3PL sync, and that's often enough to get a store holding up under real load.
